The Dushaw family in Crownsville, MD had a 1950-era kitchen that looked like it should be on an episode of Mad Men, the drab and plastic-looking plywood cabinets needed a change.
We removed the plywood doors and replaced them with our solid-wood raised-panel doors for a more modern kitchen. We even added crown molding to the ceiling for an elegant look.
By the sink, we added a roman arch valence to compliment the raised arched panel doors – we also found the eco-friendly halogen lights not only saved money but they “put the light where it’s needed.”
