Kitchen Refacing in Mount Airy Maryland

Inspiration + Superior Craftsmanship = Exceptional Value

This kitchen went through an amazing transformation in just 3 1/2 days. Frankly, we do this all the time, but it is still exciting. Here is an overview of what was done.

We started with the extension of their cabinets. We did this by removing the drywall soffit and installing new drywall behind and above the old soffit. Then by framing the wall cabinetry to the ceiling, we were able to give them the additional space they were looking for.

On day 2, we furnished and installed a new granite countertop, a SS undermount sink, and a special faucet. Our in house installer completed all the plumbing and electrical connections.

Next, we removed their old cabinets above their refrigerator and added new 24" deep cabinets that went to the ceiling. And added a new ceiling height pantry. Here (see right image) you can see this transformation added tons of space.

This new kitchen is all about additional storage. We converted many of their drawers into deep solid wood dovetailed drawers, in which we then added full extension glides. No more back breaking searches or having Tupperware tumble out.

After tackling the peninsula corner by adding a door, we then furnished and installed all new Solid Cherry Wood Doors. All this in just 3 1/2 days!

Join us in celebrating over 28 years and 1000's of satisfied customer's that had their kitchen dreams come true. This site is loaded with photos of extraordinary transformations, uncompromising craftsmanship, and the finest quality hardwood doors, veneers, all made in the U.S.A.

What you will find, in the months to come, are photos that are actual kitchens installed by Kitchen Magic Refacers, Inc. You will not see studio photos, all new cabinets called refacing, anything made from/with sawdust, glue, or vinyl/laminates or anything made in China. We believe in buying American, old fashion craftsmanship, and long term customer satisfaction.
